Niederösterreich, 22. Februar 2012
Heute fand im IST Austria in Gugging, anlässlich des Abschlusses der Verhandlungen zwischen Bund und Land Niederösterreich über den weiteren Ausbau der Spitzenforschungseinrichtung Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST) im Zeitraum zwischen 2017 und 2026, eine Pressekonferenz mit dem Thema 'Zukunft von IST Austria' statt. Neben Finanzministerin Fekter waren auch Wissenschaftsminister Karlheinz Töchterle (3.v.R), LH Niederösterreich, Erwin Pröll (2.v.L.), Kuratoriumsvorsitzender IST Austria, Claus Raidl (L) und IST-Präsident, Thomas A. Henzinger (R) am Podium.

Am 1. Februar 2012 führten rund 150 Mitarbeiter des Bundesministeriums für Finanzen den ersten Einsatz dieser Größenordnung gegen illegales Glücksspiel im gesamten niederösterreichischen Bundesgebiet durch.
