Other goods

with a cumulative value of EUR 430 for airline travellers or EUR 300 for all other travellers per calendar day. For travellers younger than 15 years those amounts are generally reduced to EUR 150.

Comment:

Import prohibitions and restrictions also have to be considered when importing above mentioned duty-free goods.

Several travellers are not allowed to pool their allowances. It is therefore not possible for two persons (airline travellers), for example, to import one single item duty-free with a value of € 600. You may claim the duty-free allowance once per calendar day.

Reduced duty-free amounts and allowance applies to cross-border traffic and entries from the Swiss Customs exclave Samnaun Valley. Further information can be obtained from the brochure “Customs Info 2013”.
