Customs Competence Centres
The competence centres are service units of the Austrian customs administration. In addition to their important central duties, they predominantly act as general points of information or helpdesks.
Their services include:
- quickly responding to complex or technical enquiries;
- quickly informing the business community of any legal or procedural changes (via the internet, newsletters, serial letters etc.);
- corresponding with the central offices of other EU customs administrations.

If you have any questions about already existent procedures (e.g. customs declarations, appeals, approvals), please contact your customs office.
